50c23150ef59f.preview-300BOONE, NC – Sources have confirmed this morning that, despite all logical reasoning, the Scottish Inn is still here. The inn, which has been closed for years now and is absolutely no benefit to the town of Boone in any way, has in fact been discovered as recently as this morning to still be in existence.

“Yeah, it’s still here,” explained BP employee Brian Gilstrap when interviewed regarding the existence of the motel.

Around town, the Scottish Inn is known for simply being there, as well as for never being that important, even back when it was in operation. When asked if the inn ever housed anyone famous, that same BP employee from before said, “I suppose it’s possible, but I don’t think so.”

The BP employee also expressed some hope that the motel will one day be demolished, saying, “I expect that the motel will be demolished one day.”

UPDATE: We can confirm that, as of the completion of the writing of this article, there have been no changes regarding the existence of the motel in question.
